In November 2019, some of our Local 1 Apprentices assisted in building the load-bearing block piers for the new wheelchair-accessible house in progress for former Rock Hill Police Officer Mathew Crosby, who was shot and paralyzed in the line of duty.  These piers will hold up the deck from the second floor of the house and will be wrapped in stone at a later date.

Shown above and below are Level 3 Apprentice Joshua Rehme (indentured to Patrico Masonry), Level 6 Apprentices Kevin Barry (indentured to Lampkin Masonry) and Sam Redington (indentured to Grant Bricklaying),  and Tyler Arnold (indentured to Superior Waterproofing.)
