Right-To-Work Signature Gathering Trainings
Information shared via Missouri AFL-CIO, and will be updated as new sessions are added
Brothers & Sisters:
As we found out through our pilot program on Election Day April 4, trainings are an intricate part of making our efforts a successful piece of the puzzle to beating back right to work in Missouri. So many situations in the field were handled expertly by our volunteers because of the training program that could have otherwise gone awry.
Therefore, petitions should only be handled and circulated by someone who has completed the training. I hope that everyone understands that we have to stick to this rule as any mistakes that we may make could be an unintended but crucial blow to defeating right to work.
For those of you wanting to join the effort, please join us at one of our upcoming trainings. Additionally Our training program is a 'train the trainer.' Activists will be able to go back to their local unions and train their own members to collect signatures and help by serving as a point person for their local for collected signature pages. This training is REQUIRED if you wish to gather signatures for the official petition.
If you are already trained and need to drop off your signed petitions, you may bring them to the ADC Hall during business hours, contact Luke Canfora at the Missouri AFL-CIO at lcanfora@aflcio.org, or click here to find a drop-off site for your petitions to be collected.
