I Moved, How Can I Update My Address?:
Any changes to member mailing information will require proper verification. Effective January 2018, we require that all address changes, from any active or retired Member, or any former Member collecting a pension benefit, fill out the provided form. The form is available via the link below, as well as at the Union Hall, Pension Office, and at each Locals' Apprentice JATC for active Apprentices & Improvers. It must either be signed at the Union Hall or Pension Fund office with proper photo identification and new address to verify your identity, signed in front of your Local's JATC Coordinator, or signed in the presence of a notary. No address changes will be accepted by phone and without the proper procedure being followed. A current cellphone number or email address will also be required, and it is strongly encouraged that all Members sign up for the BAC Member Portal or BAC Mobile to monitor your benefits and dues status. These steps are for your protection and the security of your benefits and information.
This applies year-round, and will also be procedure during Vacation Stamp window as well, with any changes to address being due by the printed date on those forms to be made in time for the check to be mailed to the new address.
You can use this form if you do not wish to wait for us to mail you one:
Vacation Stamp Paperwork & Checks:
Vacation Stamp Deduction Forms will be mailed out the last week of September/first week of October. The due date for having those back into the Hall is printed on the forms, and is a non-negotiable date set by the bank. If we do not have those forms in our hands by that date, we cannot make the deductions requested, nor can we hold your check. Checks cannot be held without the Hold Form being returned to us by the due date, nor can we redirect any checks to a different mailing address than is on file.
If you need to change the address it is sent to, the procedure outlined above must be followed, and you must return the Change of Address form by the due date printed on the paperwork.
Also: If you are having dues or other deductions made from your check, please be sure the amount of the deduction is figured correctly, and if you are unsure, please contact the Hall prior to sending it in. If it is incorrect, we will not be able to make the deduction.
